The 5 year old Galileo mare, Cosmica Sidera, has been confirmed in foal to Wootton Bassett by management at Haras Du Buff in France where she is boarding. She was purchased by John Kalmanson at the Tattersalls October Sale in 2014 and was trained by David Smaga in France. By the end of her racing career she had won twice and placed 2nd in the Listed Prix Du Grand Camp. Cosmica Sidera retired to stud at the end of 2017 and this season visited the son of Iffraaj (GB), Wootton Bassett, who was champion 2YO in France. From his first three crops to race he has already produced the multiple Gr 1 winner Almanzor (FR).
The 5 year old mare, Cosmica Sidera, is out of Bywayofthestars (GB) and is a full sister to Gr 3 Chester Vase winner, Orchestra (IRE). Orchestra also placed 3rd in the Gr 1 Irish Derby.
