MUCH to our delight, trainer Geoff Woodruff is planning to return
to Cape Town following a successful 20-year stint on the Highveld.
Remarkably, Geoff’s relationship with Varsfontein stretches back to
the late 80s when he ventured out on his own and we sent him the
Mexico filly No Way Jose, which enabled him to have enough
horses to get his trainer’s licence!
